City Color Cosmetics Sunkissed Trio "Tan" & ColourPop "Tootsi" Lippie Pencil
Okay so this is a double review..yayyy I get to kill 2 birds with 1 stone *disclaimer, no birds or any other animals were harmed while writing this blog i promiseeee*.
SUNKISSED TRIO I attended the 2015 NYC IMATS a few months ago and I stopped at the City Color Cosmetics booth & picked up the SUNKISSED TRIO Palette in TAN. I got it for a discounted price since I bought it at IMATS. I was eyeing it on the website but I decided to wait until I seen it in person because I am funny when it comes to highlighters and I haven't seen any reviews prior. When I 1st used this palette, I had to really reevaluate my life for even waiting to purchase this, I was upset I hadn't purchased it sooner *shame on me..yup just a shame* but I am glad i bought it it was my 1st time actually trying a highlighter and I felt like the glow queen! The palette comes with a blush, bronzer & highlighter & all 3 products were amazing! I received so many compliments, I was even asked if I were pregnant because I was glowing so much *like you've got to be kidding me..seriously?!* So yeah this palette is available in different shade ranges, I am wearing TAN.
TOOTSI I purchased both the lippie stix and lippie pencil in TOOTSI. I love griege lippies! When tootsi was 1st released I had to be the 1st person to purchase because ColourPop said these lippies would be release at 1 time & hours earlier I was so eager to buy, I tried the website & just my luck it was available to purchase earlier *being a makeup junkie isn't so bad after all haha* I love true matte lippies so I used the lippie pencil all over my lips. Tootsi is a greyish beige, hence us makeup fiends call it GRIEGE! *DUHHHH* The application was smooth and the color is so pigmented. This particular lippie pencil is thicker than the rest so the color really popped on my lips as if I had on a liquid to matte lipstick and that was the look I was going for! This color looks different on different skin tones, on fair women, it shows up more beige. I was told by my fave blogger @lipstickjunkieforever that she likes it better on my skintone *woohoo yay me..doing the butterfly...runs away in shame for trying to dance*
